Baduは京都、哲学の道や大文字山の近くに位置する、monkの姉妹店です。
カジュアルなアラカルトで提供する、ワインバー/居酒屋スタイル。
地元の農家さんや私たちの畑から収穫された野菜がメインの、炭火を使ったシンプルな料理。
スピリットを受け継ぎながら、ピザやコース料理のmonkとはまた違った体験を楽しんで頂けます。
Badu is the sister restaurant of Monk, located just off the philosophers path, tucked away on the east side of Kyoto under Mount Daimonji. In the spirit of Monk, Badu embraces seasonal ingredients from our farm and other local farmers, cooked over charcoal fire. Offering a different experience from the courses and pizzas at Monk, Badu presents an a la carte menu or sharing omakase in an izakaya style setting. Our cellar full of wines, sakes, and more, can be enjoyed in the standing tachinomi space.

Baduは大変静かな住宅地にあり、近隣の皆様の環境を守るため、店舗前までタクシーを乗りつけることをご遠慮頂いております。また、店舗前での大声での会話や空席待ちも謹んで頂きますようお願いしております。タクシーでお越しの方は鹿ヶ谷通沿いの「鹿ヶ谷消防出張所」または「第三錦林小学校」でお降り頂き、哲学の道を超えてBaduまでお越しくださりますようお願いします。
また、お帰りの際にタクシーを呼ばれる際も同様にお願い致します。

We are a part of a very quiet neighborhood, and we want to stay a part of that neighborhood. Please keep low voices when coming and going from Badu. We strongly ask not to come by taxi in front of us. If you use a taxi, you can get off at "Shishigatani Fire Station" or "Daisan Kinrin Elementary School" and walk up to us. And when you call a taxi after a meal, ask to do it the same way.
※ご予約は可能な限りオンラインでお願いしております。ご予約開始は希望日より2ヶ月前の昼12:00にオープン致します。お電話でのお問い合わせは、営業日の13:00-15:45の間のみ対応しております。少ない人数で営業しているため、サービス中は基本的にお電話をお受けすることができません。また、同じ理由により、メール、インスタグラムのDMでのご予約の対応、キャンセル待ち、ウェイティングリストへの対応も致しかねます。ご理解を頂けますと幸いです。

前半のご予約を、16:00スタート（18:45まで）後半を19:00スタートにてご案内させて頂きます。
＊ご予約の際、デポジットとしてお一人様あたり5000円をカードで仮押さえさせて頂きます。こちらは後日払い戻しされますが、36時間前のキャンセル、人数の減少につきましては、キャンセル料として払い戻しされません。必ずご了承の上、ご予約をお願い致します。
＊トラブル防止の為、お客様ご自身でのご予約をお願いしております。ホテル、旅行代理店、旅行ガイド、カード会社等を通したご予約は受付けておりませんのでご理解頂ければ幸いです。
※ We take reservations through an online booking system. The reservation starts 2 months in advance, at 12:00PM. We can answer the phone from 12:00-15:45 when we are open. We usually cannot catch phone calls during service time because we are running with a very small team.
Because of the same reason, we do not take care of inquiries through e-mail, instagram DM, or waiting list.

※ We have 2 rounds of seatings each night.
Early seatings start at 16:00, and late seating is 19:00. Please make sure you show up at the exact time of your reservation. Thank you for your understanding.
※ Cancellation Policy
We will hold 5000 yen for deposit when you make a reservation. Please understand for cancellation, or decrease in the number of guests to your booking, your deposit will be charged if within 36 hours of your reservation.
※ Please make reservation directly by yourself. We do not take reservations through hotels, Travel agencies, guides or credit card companies.
